Basement 33 located on Goulburn St in Sydney's CBD, boasts signature New York-style pizzas and cocktails. We stumbled upon this place during a walk through Chinatown on a Monday evening. It was 6.30pm and although it was pumping very loud music, we were the only patrons there. The establishment felt as if were in an underground club. We had the Scarface Pizza with fresh tomato, bocconcini, extra "HOT" salami and black olives. We also had a basket of Basement Bird, which are deep fried chicken tenders, and to finish our meal, a tiramisu to share. The food was good, and so was the service. The music was a little loud considering it was still fairly early when we came in, though I suppose, we were in a bar.
