#110 | BUFFALO DINING CLUB

Pumpkin Orecchiette 

Back here again, and I was super excited. Came with a bigger group this time which meant  more food on the table and more to share! We had the buffalo ricotta gnocchi with napolitana sauce, and the cacio e pepe with salt, pepper, olive oil and parsley which was tossed in a pecorino cheese wheel before being plated at our table. I've had these two dishes before, and it was still as good as I remembered it to be. Another pasta dish we tried, which was a special and not actually on the printed menu, was a pumpkin, zucchini flower, and stracciatella cheese orecchiette pasta. Although delicious, and wonderfully creamy, it was our least favourite of the three we had (if I had to rank them). Since we were at a mozzarella bar, we of course, had to get some cheese. We had the fresh Italian buffalo mozzarella from Campania, with some marinated Sicilian olives, pecorino crusted eggplant and a small helping of jamon iberico. This is one of my favourite places in Sydney for pasta. We all had a great time here and really enjoyed the food.
