Ok, so we were going through a burger phase, and we didn't have cravings for just any old burger - we were after the nasty ones, ones where you have massive regrets about it later on. We got what we so eagerly wanted at Bar Luca. For burgers, we had the BL Beef with a 200g beef pattie, streaky bacon, American cheese, tomato, lettuce, pickles, aioli and house-made ketchup, as well as the Blame Canada burger with beef, maple glazed streaky bacon, American cheese, poutine and maple aioli. We also shared the Bomb Frites which was topped with pulled pork, liquid cheese, corn, coriander and chipotle aioli. It was a very heavy and intense meal, and we did't make it any easier for ourselves by also having it with a milkshake, but it was damn delicious and it totally satisfied our burger cravings.
