Mississipi Come Back Sauce
Belles Hot Chicken, as the name suggests, does chicken. Battered and deep fried to be exact, and they do a very good job at it. Each order comes with a slice of white bread, crinkle cut chips and pickles. Different levels of heat are available with the chicken, including a non-hot Southern version that can be enjoyed by those who aren't so great with spice. I had the medium level drumsticks while the boy had really hot tenders. We also grabbed the Belles blue cheese sauce and the Mississippi Come Back sauce to have with our meal. Wouldn't recommend the blue cheese - it was a little bit too watery in texture - but the Mississippi sauce was very nice. The heat is the real deal here. When they say it's hot, they seriously mean it. The boy's stomach wasn't the best the next day, but he knew it was coming...
On a side note, these photos were taken on the Samsung Note 8. Can you believe how great they look? I'm totally impressed!
