Tacos
Zucchini Flowers
Cardillac Platter
Mexican Churros
According to El Camino Cantina, you should come here for the tacos, margaritas and good old rock 'n' roll, and that's exactly what we did. We visited on a weeknight, and although it was expectedly quiet, the restaurant successfully kept up it's fun vibe. As soon as we were seated, we were given a complimentary basket of nachos, which went very well with our drinks. We shared the Cardillac platter which had ghost chilli chicken wings, corn and jalapeƱos poppers, tuna ceviche tacos, guacamole chicken quesadilla, chilli corn carne. In addition, we also shared an extra plate of tacos and some cheese stuffed zucchini flowers. To end the night came churros; 5 in a basket, tossed in cinnamon sugar and served with salted caramel sauce. All in all, the food wasn't too bad. They are all very snack-like and 'peck-able' which makes them the perfect accompaniment for a night of drinks.
