I have to start off by saying that the food at the Cuban Place was good, but not the most impressive. It's a great place for drinks and to hang out with friends, and while you're at it, have something to eat as well, but I wouldn't come here just for the food. On our visit, we got a bunch of small plates to share so that we can sample the menu. We had the chicken, lamb and pork tacos, pork and beef meatballs in tomato and capsicum sauce, a basket of deep fried cassava and plantains with house made aioli, grilled corn with jalapeño aioli, secret Cuban sauce and popcorn, and to finish it off, churros with salted caramel and chocolate sauce. Super glad that we had a Dimmi deal because the food here was a little pricey. Overall, still a good night and a good feed.
