We had our Post Completion Inspection on 12 March and are now waiting for the house to be handed over. Only thing the bank needs before releasing the final amount is the Occupational Certificate, which our builder is working with the Certifier on quickly getting and once that's available, we should be good with making payment and getting the keys to our home. We have our flooring people lined up to do the upstairs flooring on 30 March and are currently getting quotes for the fencing and driveway. We're going to have an expensive few months coming up, and some things may need to wait, like the landscaping and patio. Feeling quite overwhelmed by it all, but also excited to finally call this place our new home. If all things progress as planned, we might be able to get the keys next week.
