#10 | KAZBAH

SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA

There's nothing like a good feed with co-workers on a Friday night to mark the end of a long week of work. Even though you see these people 5 days a week, it's crazy how there's still so much to talk about! Kazbah Darling Harbour serves a mix of Middle Eastern, Turkish and Moroccan food, and is perfect for those dining in a group. Between the 5 of us, we had the:

Lemon Bharat Chicken Shish Kebab with a mixed nut pilaf, caraway capsicum creme fraiche and parsley pesto sauce
Lamb Shank Tangine with prunes, carrots, kidney beans and steamed carrot couscous
Chargrilled Grain Fed Scotch Fillet with asparagus, moroccan butter, and chips with Kazbah seasoning
Fattoush salad
Duck Fat Pan-Fried Garlic Crushed Potatoes
Red Wine Sangria

We really enjoyed our Middle Eastern feast. The service was great, and everything we ordered was delicious and very flavoursome. You'd think that with the 5 of us, we'd order at least 4-5 mains instead of 3 and some sides, but what we had was sufficient, and it gave us enough tummy room for dessert a little later (as opposed to my more often than not, stuffing-of-face-with-too-much-food-because-I-over-ordered-and-then-still-try-to cram-in-dessert tactic).
