Münchner Schmankerlplatte at Lowenbrau Keller
The Aroma Festival at The Rocks is a one day annual event welcoming all lovers of coffee, tea and chocolate. Arriving at 10am, many people had already gathered around the stalls, waiting for their coffees and sweet treats. We picked up ours from The Wood Roaster and then went to Dos Churros for some freshly made churros. After taking a nice walk around the festival and the Rocks Market, we went to Lowenbrau Keller for lunch. We had the Münchner Schmankerlplatte, which was a haus-made sharing platter with Munich specialties. It came with 2 types of sausages, chicken schnitzel, meat loaf, roasted pork belly, oven roasted pork knuckle, creamy mashed potato, sauerkraut, red cabbage dumpling and bier jus. Definitely way too much food for two. That platter could have been comfortably shared between 3-4 people (trust me).
A great day out on a beautiful Sunday in July.
