TOKYO, JAPAN
Walt Disney
Possibly the hardest decision I had to make on this trip was whether to visit Disneyland or DisneySea. Terrible right? Unfortunately, we didn't have enough time to go to both, so we decided (with much difficulty, and many sleepless nights) to do DisneySea as it was more unique to Japan. One thing that's not hard to notice about Tokyo are the queues. There seems to be a line for absolutely everything, and DisneySea was no exception. In fact, it was probably worse. We walked past a particular attraction at noon, and there were a lot of people waiting in line for it - it was a show. So I thought it might be starting soon, and checked the board - the next show is at 2pm. Yes, 2pm. People were already in line for a show starting in 2 hours!
The way to conquer DisneySea is by strategically planning! We got there at 10am, and there were already long lines for restaurants, attractions, the meet and greet with park characters, and the souvenir stores. Wished we actually got here earlier! If you have time, definitely go online and check out the rides and the shows they have for the day, and plan ahead - decide what you want to see and do beforehand to ensure that you get the most out of it.
