#236 | OLD TOWN HONG KONG BARANGAROO

SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA

Siu Mai
Salty Fish and Chicken Fried Rice
Steamed Chicken Feet
Roast Duck and Soya Sauce Chicken with Noodles
Deep Fried Prawn Toast
Coconut Sago Drink

Old Town Hong Kong at Barangaroo is a popular lunch option for those who work nearby, and it always seems to be busy. The Boy and I decided to have dinner here after working late one night. We got a bunch of different things to sample. Wanting some evening dim sums, we had a serving of siu mai, which are pork and prawn dumplings, steamed chicken feet in black bean sauce and some deep fried prawn toast. For mains, and something more substantial, we had the salty fish and chicken fried rice and the roast duck and soya chicken with soy sauce egg noodles. For our drink, which we also treated like a dessert, we had the coconut and sago. Everything we had here was quite yummy, and we were definitely stuffed by the end of the meal.  Old Town offers some great Cantonese classics, and if you are in the area, this place makes for a great lunch spot.
