PHUKET, THAILAND
During our holiday in Phuket, we stayed at a resort called Patong Merlin. We had a comfortable and spacious room with a balcony that overlooked the pool. The hotel was also in a pretty central location. The beach was right across the road and the markets and shopping area a few minutes walk away. Right next to the hotel was Hard Rock Cafe and Bangla Road is an easy 15 minute walk. With our stay we also enjoyed their breakfast buffet, which consisted of a variety of International and Asian dishes. The only let down during our stay, was the wifi. We had experienced network issues almost every day. We spoke to the front desk who gave us a new set of access details, which worked well for possibly 2 days before we experienced slowness and dropouts again. It became frustrating, especially when we wanted to go online to look for a good restaurant to dine at, or check our flight details. Apart from this one thing, we enjoyed our stay at Patong Merlin.
