ORLANDO, USA
While our main reason for visiting Orlando was Disney World, we extended our stay so that we could also check out Universal Studios. Taking a brief step away from the Disney magic, we entered into the world of Marvel super heroes, Jurassic adventures, and mythical creatures from the School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The biggest (and busiest) attraction there was the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, which is actually in both Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios Florida. Great way to get fans to visit both parks right? The one in Islands of Adventure is Hogsmead, which was amazing and really fun. We tried butterbeer, which was like creaming soda, picked up a wand and visited all the cool shops with funny looking snacks. Along with entry tickets into the park, we also purchased the express pass which came in very handy because there were long lines for almost every ride. The cost of the express pass was ridiculously pricey, but if you're planning on visiting the Universal Studio parks, I recommend the extra spend on also getting the pass. Otherwise, you'd be spending most of your time there waiting for rides instead of actually enjoying yourself. It was a super hot weekend, but we had a really great day out.
