Ribbon Sandwiches
For Mother's Day earlier this year, I took mum out to the The Rocks for a High Tea afternoon at the Tea Cosy. With tea pots, tea cosies and knitting sets scattered around the place, it really felt as if were at nan's place; a little messy but very homely and warm. We had 4 deliciously fluffy scones; 2 traditional, 1 with raisins and the other rose-flavoured. It was served with an all-natural double thick cream and 2 jams of our choosing. We had strawberry and the peach and vanilla. The scones were so yummy! And so was the cream! We really enjoyed them and had a wonderful afternoon. On every other day, there is the option to just get the scones without the high tea set, which I would recommend. The sandwiches were good, but the scones are the real focus here.
