LAS VEGAS, USA
After a week at the happiest place on earth (Disney World), we travelled to Las Vegas; the theme park for adults. We had a very relaxed time here, with most of our afternoons spent watching movies in our hotel room, then dinner and a walk along The Strip in the evening; checking out the many casinos and shops along the way. After New York and Orlando, being able to take it slow was actually a nice change. The boy really wanted to try burgers from White Castle while we were in the US and we found a chain on the Strip. I had thought they wouldn't be tasty, but they were! Super soft and moist and the fries were good too. One of the biggest entertainment in Vegas (apart from the gambling) is to see a show or concert. We saw two shows, Cirque du Soleil Mystere and Penn and Teller, which were both very, very good. We also took a day trip to the Grand Canyon while in Vegas. It was a long journey out and back, but well worth it for the amazing views.
