Ever since we got an American Express card, our pre-boarding wait time has been a lot more enjoyable. One of the perks of being a cardholder is free access to the American Express Lounge at Sydney International Airport. Even though free entry is limited to only 2 times a year, this suits us just fine. It's a pretty busy lounge and depending on when you're there, it sometimes can be a challenge to even find a seat. But we still love it more than the common waiting areas because there's free food here haha! Now, there's not a super large range, but for a little something to eat and drink before a flight, it's pretty darn decent. These photos were from the time when we were heading over to Europe (for the first time ever). The boy and I helped ourselves to breakfast AND lunch since we got there in the late morning when they had breakfast food out and just about to start lunch. The food isn't bad at all, and actually pretty tasty for a simple preflight meal. Our favourite seat is by the window with a view of the planes outside, but if that's taken, our second choice is to relax on the comfy sofas on the other side of the floor.
