Mum and Dad were out the whole day to see a specialist doctor, so my Uncle kept us company. First things first, we needed some food in our bellies, and we satisfied it with a bunch of dims sums at Tien Phat located in District 5. We were here quite early on a weekday and although we got a table straight away, it was already bustling with lots of other diners there. Food came out hot, fresh and tasty. Unlike the more traditional Yum Cha restaurants where they wheel around the food in a trolley, you actually place your order, or select the dim sums you want via a menu. Might be because the restaurant was multi-levelled, making it too impractical to do it this way. Tien Phat is not in the most touristy part of town, but is well worth the trek out for a tasty dim sum meal.
