#161 | MUNICH TRAVEL DIARY

MUNICH, GERMANY

Muuuunich! We had a blast, and loved every minute of every day here. So much that the boy didn't want to leave! We also got to enjoy the festivities of Oktoberfest, but more on that in another post. We actually had a pretty awful check-in experience at our Airbnb. It was all due to a misunderstanding with the time of our arrival, which was in the AM, but our host thought it was in the evening. So we ended up waiting around for a while before somehow managing to get into the building and finding the unit and the host ourselves. Our host was really apologetic for the misunderstanding so it was all good once we got settled. After a little bit of rest, we took a walk around the English Garden, and then ventured into the city for a German dinner at Hofbrauhaus. We spent most of our time in Munich wondering around Old Town and sampling as much food as we can. Just wanted to give a shout out to their bread and sandwiches - AMAZING! During our stay, we also had a lot of fun at Oktoberfest, travelled out to see Neuschwanstein Castle and also spent one morning at the Dachau Concentration Camp. We just love Munich so much; the people, the culture and the food. We can't wait to come back, and also explore more of Germany.
