Fiery Krablergarten Schnitzel
It was lunch time and we were excited for the local feed we had planned - schnitzel! Super-sized ones! Andy's is a pub with a small beer garden out the back. We would have loved to dine outside, but it was closed off because of the cold and wet weather during our visit. We had the Schnitzel Spezial which is pork schnitzel breaded in a mixture of sweet mustard and horseradish, and the Fiery Krablergarten schnitzel which, as the name suggests, schnitzel marinated in a spicy breading. We had one plate with chips, and the other pasta. I wouldn't really recommend the pasta base as it wasn't dressed in anything. It was just cooked spiral pasta. Other side options include potato cucumber salad, fried potatoes and rice. The servings are huge - the schnitzel was bigger than my face - so best to come with an appetite! Our meal was tasty and really filling. Prices weren't too bad either - 11.90 Euros each plate. Highly recommend a visit when in Munich!
