We had tickets to the Book of Mormon in London. My co-worker suggested we have pre-theatre dinner nearby at the Hawksmoor on Air Street. Apart from being very close to the venue, Hawksmoor on Air Street also offers an Express Menu, which was great value for money. We went with 2 courses, not really by choice, but because we ran out of time and had to quickly dash off to the play. For entree, we had the potted beef and bacon, one with a side of Yorkshires and the other with sourdough crisps. For mains, we each had a rump steak and a side of fries and creamed spinach to share. We initially thought the Express Menu wouldn't be great, but the food was delicious and we had a great meal at a great price. If only we had enough time, we would have also tried their dessert. We left a little bummed about it haha, but no matter, we were very satisfied and to make the night even better, the Book of Mormon was FANTASTIC! Super great night out in London!
