I was treated to a very delicious (and meaty) dinner for my birthday at Mjolner and what a feast it was! For starters, we had the Venison tartare with fermented blueberries and confit lemon, and the Roast Bone Marrow with wild boar floss and pickled red onions. Two really great starters which got us very excited for what came next. For mains, we had the Roast Pork Belly with fermented cauliflower cream and crispy kalette, and the Short Rib with a whisky glaze and smoked maple mustard. The meats were so tender and juicy. Our knife just glide right through without any pressure at all. With our mains we had a side of Baby Cos Lettuce with crispy capers, chopped eggs and anchovies, and Baby Potatoes with horseradish sour creme and fresh dill. My goodness everything was mouth-wateringly tasty. There wasn't a thing that we didn't like with what we ordered. Mjølner is a fun and unique bar and restaurant with a great food and drinks menu. You will definitely leave this place stuffed and satisfied!
