Pancakes Amsterdam has an extensive pancake menu, with both traditional Dutch pancakes and American pancakes on offer. While the American pancakes look amazing (thick and fluffy), we just had to stick to the Dutch versions since we're in The Netherlands and we've never had Dutch pancakes before. We went with one sweet and one savoury. For savoury, we had the ham and cheese, made with grated Dutch cheese. For something sweet, we had the apple crumble with vanilla ice cream and a dash of cinnamon on a traditional Dutch pancake. Both our pancakes were super yummy. To compare it to an American pancake, the Dutch ones are thinner and more like crepes. Pancakes Amsterdam is a very popular place to try Dutch pancakes, with a number of locations around Amsterdam. We went to the one in Centraal after doing a bit of exploring in the area.
