As we walked towards our seat, there were already 2 glasses of sparkling water prepared for us at our table. This is the only Sydney restaurant I've been to that has offered free sparkling water. On our first visit, we had the Corned Beef Hash with garden peas, poached egg and parmesan crumbs, and the Saffron Linguine with garlic chilli, prawns, kale and parmesan. The linguine was out-of-this-world. Delicious, with a good hint of chilli. The pasta was coated in a tasty buttery sauce, the prawns were cooked nicely, and the kale was a great addition to the the dish. The hash wasn't too bad either. Loved the combination and texture. Would have been good if there was a little more potatoes, but that's just a personal preference.

Did I tell you how much I enjoyed the pasta? So much that we ordered it again on our second visit. It wasn't as great as the first time though. It was missing a critical element - the chilli. Yep, there was no chilli in the dish at all. They must have forgotten to add it. We also tried the burger. How can you make a burger even worse for your health? By giving it a crispy, deep fried bun, in the form of a cronut. That's the Elvis burger for you, made with ground beef, savoury brewnut, Canadian bacon, gruyere and mayo, served with chips and relish. They've taken the classic burger to a whole new level and it's not one for the faint-hearted.

Cronuts; a treat that has a soft interior like a doughnut, and a crispy, flaky outer layer like a croissant. Brewtown calls theirs brewnuts. We've tried a few different flavours, and they were all amazingly good.
