Yaowarat is Bangkok's vibrant and bustling Chinatown. There are two very popular seafood restaurants in Chinatown, and they are right next to each other - T&K Seafood and Lek & Rut Seafood. As they don't open until 5.30pm, we didn't realise on our earlier stroll that we had already passed the location. We had walked a little too far, but with some assistance from the locals, we managed to find it in the end. We dined at Lek & Rut and had the grilled freshwater prawns, which was something that almost every table had, the crab curry and stir fry scallops. The food here was really delicious. Be prepared to get your hands dirty if you're going to get the prawns or crab, but it will be so worth it.
