#82 | THE RED FORT OF AGRA

AGRA, INDIA

Here's a throwback to my trip to India back in 2013. I know this was ages ago, but my visit was just so much fun I don't mind talking about it years later. We had a tour guide during our short 1 day stay in Agra, and after seeing the famous Taj Mahal in the early morning, we were taken back to the hotel for some breakfast and a quick break before heading back out to visit the Red Fort. Also known as Agra Fort, this historic site was a military structure turned palace. We enjoyed the beautiful architecture and the intricate details in all the rooms, walls and floors. Looking out the windows in the upper level, you'd be able to get a glimpse the Taj Mahal and it's garden in the distance. Our tour guide was very informative, and there was so much to learn about this place - I'd definitely recommend getting one when visiting.
