Absolute Bagels was absolutely delicious. Our first New York bagel experience, and it was unforgettable. We came here for breakfast on our second morning in this wonderful city, and we couldn't stop talking about it for the entire day. The bagels were soft and chewy (in a good way), and both had generous amounts of cream cheese on them. The jalapeño cream was more subtle than we thought, which was a good thing. Otherwise, it would have been too strong a flavour. There was a small line when we arrived, which was helpful because it gave us some time to look at the menu and decide what to get, but by the time we were seated with our food, the line had extended all the way outside. It was so unfortunate that we only had bagels once during our entire stay. The next time I'm in NYC, I'm going to make it my mission to have bagels everyday!
