#105 | LUNCHING AT SHAKE SHACK

NEW YORK, USA

Shack Burger
Crinkle Cut Fries
Shakes

Shake Shack was one of my top things to try when visiting New York. It seems to be the one thing every New Yorker loves and is super proud of. There was a Shake Shack around the corner from the American Museum of Natural History, so we went there for lunch after our visit and it was so busy! People were eating their burgers at a nearby park because all the tables at the restaurant were taken. We were fortunate enough to score one right before we were about to order. Now, whenever we're eating out, we normally each get something different and share it. But not this time. We both went for the classic Shack Burger; one single and one double. The Shack Burger is a cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato and ShackSauce, and it was amaaaazing. It was juicy, and tender and just all round delicious. But, it's also one of those burgers that makes you hate yourself afterwards. It was pretty greasy, and we probably made things worse by giving ourselves a milkshake each. We had one vanilla and the other was a salted caramel. As awful as we felt afterwards, they were really good at the time of consumption haha. Shake Shack makes great burgers. It's true. I'd recommend it to those who have never tried it, and I'd most likely get it again myself, but maybe with just the one shake between two next time. Oh, and they've also got great fries - have to give them a go. Is any burger meal actually be considered complete without a side of fries? I don't think so.
