SINGAPORE
Chilli Crab
Black Pepper Crab
Mee Goreng
Talk about yuuuuum! We had such limited time in Singapore, but I really wanted to make sure mum and dad tried out as much as they could. Singapore is hands down a foodie heaven, and one of the country's most well-known dish is chilli crab. I've had it in Singapore before, but mum and dad hasn't, so I was super excited for the meal. Never tried it at JUMBO's so that will be a first for all of us. JUMBO's has a number of locations, and the one we went to was at The Riverwalk near Clark Quay. We had their award-winning chilli crab, black pepper crab and mee goreng, which is Malay-style fried noodles. Our meal was so delicious! And the standout dish was not surprisingly the chilli crab. The crab was meaty, and the sauce tangy and a little spicy. You definitely won't want to let that sauce go to waste so get a side of buns to mop it all up. The pepper crab is not for the faint hearted. I wasn't a huge fan of it because the pepper taste was pretty intense, but for those who love black pepper, you'd probably enjoy this. And of course, we had the noodles which was a nice accompaniment to our seafood lunch. If you're going to have chilli crab in Singapore, I would highly recommend a visit to JUMBO for it.
