#175 | RENGAYA YAKINIKU

SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA

Rengaya is a Japanese BBQ restaurant conveniently located right across North Sydney station. They've got an a la carte menu as well as the option of all-you-can-eat. Although pricey, we chose the buffet option. What's good about the all-you-can-eat here is that it's not just meat and veg up for selection. They've also got sashimi, salads, pickles and sides dishes, rice dishes and noodles. They also have ice cream for dessert. We were so stuffed by the end of the night. Everything was really nice. They had different cuts of wagyu beef which were all so tender. They literally melt in your mouth. It was also really hard not to have some rice and noodles when it sounded so great on the menu; so we ordered 1 of each. But we didn't realise how big they were! They were almost the size of a main meal. I would probably skip the soba noodles next time - although they were nice, it was more on the plainer side, and was really there to fill the stomach, which is really what you don't need haha. Definitely recommend this place to meat lovers, buffet lovers, and really anyone who enjoys beef. Oh, just to be clear, there was also chicken, pork and duck on the menu, but the range wasn't as large as beef.
