#177 | OUR AIRBNB IN EDINBURGH

EDINBURGH, SCOTLAND

On our trip around Europe, we stayed exclusively at Airbnbs. No hotels, no hostels, no dorms, just Airbnbs. Sometimes we'd be sharing the place with the host, other times, we'll have the whole place to ourselves. Our accomodation in Edinburgh was pretty great. The entire apartment was renovated in a way where all the rooms were rented out, and the kitchen and bathroom were shared amongst the guests. In a way, it was kind of like a dorm, but a little more comfortable. Whilst we had to share the bathroom, we were lucky enough that there weren't times when we'd ever be waiting long to use it. The kitchen was large and well equipped with everything you'd need to whip up a simple meal. We had an easy breakfast one morning consisting of cut up fruits, scotch eggs and coffee. We also made a pizza dinner one night and set up the laptop to watch a movie while we ate. The building was in an excellent location close to transport, a supermarket, shops, bars and restaurants. And, when you walk out of the building, Edinburgh Castle is right there at the end of the adjacent street, in full unrestricted view. We absolutely enjoyed our stay in Edinburgh!
