We've had some terrible months in Australia because of the extreme bushfires that continue to destroy properties and wildlife. The Boy's family was directly impacted as they recently lost their home from the fires. Fortunately nobody was hurt, and in keeping spirits high, they came down to join us for Christmas. We usually celebrate the day with just the two of us, so it was nice to have more people around this time. As we usually do, there was plenty of food on the table for an a-day graze. Prawns, chicken wings, nachos, and cheese boards to start. Then came the prime rib, lasagna and ham. The family also came back the next day to continue on with the leftovers, and there was a lot of leftovers! Here's hoping that everyone had a wonderful Christmas and that we all have a great year ahead of us!
